2016 Christmas Message

From all of us at IDM, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and all the very best for this season of thanksgiving.

As we reflect upon Christmas and the reason we celebrate it, I’m reminded of great personal news – my first grandchild was born just before Thanksgiving! Juliet is a beautiful healthy little girl and such a special baby. It’s strange – I would have never known how much I would love her immediately. That’s something I believe God puts in our hearts and I treasure it. Our family is blessed and thankful.

Thinking of Christ’s birth and that little baby Jesus – except for what was foretold by the prophets, who would have known that the little baby Jesus would grow up to be the Savior of the world, with so much love He gave His life on the cross for us?

I wonder, how are our children and grandchildren going to grow up in this world that we are preparing them for. What great things are they going to do? How are we working to create love and peace in our community and to move forward in harmony? What can we do to improve the future for the generations to come?

Looking back at the elections and the strife around this world, we will always differ on many issues and religion. But we need to agree to differ peaceably, respecting one another’s rights to think differently and look for ways to move forward without oppressing others or condemning them or their views irrespective of the “side” we are on.

As we end this year with various holiday and Christmas celebrations and start the new year, let’s do it with great care for others, showing love and acknowledging the right of each other to think differently and respect it.

And finally, as we go through Christmas and the holidays, let’s look to make a difference in the lives of those who are hurting or less fortunate than ourselves.

Thank you for reading and for your continued support of IDM products. We wouldn’t be here without you.

God bless and Merry Christmas,

Ian and the IDM Team
